Re: 2024 Prospects thread

Just read this blurb in the Athletic about the Complex leagues that just started: Seattle Mariners: Felnin Celesten, Jeter Martinez, Walter Ford, Cole Phillips The Mariners might have the most star-studded roster. Celesten and Martinez were two of the most highly regarded January 2023 international ...

https://www.mlb.com/prospects/top100/ New top 100: Cole Young up to 28 from 37. Harry Ford up to 29 from 38. Big jump for both of them ahead of some guys who had been ahead of them for a while... sort of surprising that Young moved up. Colt Emerson up to 51 from 87. Laz Montez gets a jump into MLB'...

Re: A trade deadline plan:

Dunno if the trade is comparable in terms of what the M’a give up, but I would much rather get Mason Miller from the A’s. He’s a beast, he’s due to become a FA next season, and the A’s aren’t going anywhere this season either. He would be a top tier closer. https://californiaherps.com/snakes/images...

Re: OT German U Boats of the coast of Boston WWII

Had lunch with the neighbors today and the guy is a Pilot boat captain. Said he was a part of a Treasure hunting operation off the coast of Cape Cod for a ship that was sunk by a German U Boat. It was full of hundreds of million/Billion now of jewels and gold and other valuables. I thought the guy ...

Re: Curse of the Vothman II GT (SEA @ MIN)

So whose fault was that? Did France make a bad toss or was Saucedo slow getting to first? Sauc was late but Ty held the ball. You have to make quick decisions and make a throw that leads him earlier. Ty gave him a perfect throw....shockingly a middle infielder is faster than Sauce was

Mariners finally score some runs, but unfortunately it's the same day the pitchers went on strike.

Hope Saucedo isn't out for too long...
His ankle didn't roll...when the trainer reached down and touched his ankle you could see him massively flinch....it is his achilles
