Re: Breaking: Woo to the IL
No, sounds like they expect him to just be out 3 starts. Hollander is quoted as saying it is similar to his August injury

Re: Big news night: Stanton Speaks
I think people use examples to highlight a point and sometimes, for the sake of brevity, you don't reference every single move that was made. I think his point here was that Jerry and Justin chose to make the moves they did, it was their choice not his to send out the players they did to better use ...

Re: Breaking: Woo to the IL
I like Woo's talent, but he's not ready. This is positive news. Like when Marco went down in May last year. Couldn't be better.

Samad on, Moore and Haggerty out
C: Raleigh, Zavala 1B: France, Garver 2B: Polanco, Rojas, SS: JP (Jorge) 3B: Urias (Josh) LF: Canzone, Raley CF: Rodriguez, Taylor RF: Haniger 13 position players. Hell with our pen banged up, why not go 14 and keep Moore? Still, at 13 I really like Samad. Polanco can play SS for JP if something hap...

Hancock returns to form
Sure it was 2 innings, but everything was better from Emerson over his last 18 months of play. No doubt about it. Emerson is going to be a major factor for this team this season. If either Woo or Miller falter (more likely Woo), then Hancock will be called upon and I've already noted he's better tha...

Re: Roster Crunch - Predicting the 26 Man
Bazardo is probably the weakest link in the pen and had a 2.63 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP for us last season. That is why it is so preposterous to even expect Kowar and Vargas or the rest of the bums to even make the OD roster let alone make any significant contributions... Huh? What did Thornton and Voth...

Re: Jerry really getting Cocky about their success with dumpster diving for relievers
I think my issue is that the guys they have success with they just trade away and hope they can do it again, this time with even longer shots. NFW it is sustainable. Graveman Sewald Topa Swanson Chargois Gott One hit wonders Sadler Steckenrider Boyd Sure, but don't you agree that relievers as a who...

Re: 2024 Prospects thread
https://twitter.com/DarrenTrain/status/1749777485212877206 The essence of DT in one tweet when a player doesn't scratch his fancy (for whatever reason): He attacks what the player does well, saying it "isn't sustainable" and ignores the ability for the player to improve his perceived weaknesses, in...

Re: Ms top 30 updated
I like how the top prospects are the youngest ages. It shows that while we are still sucking now, there is some hope for the future. With the top 3 in MLB top 100, all hitters it hopefully bodes well for the future of the lineup. who's sucking now? The M's won 88 games despite a terrible first half...

Re: Holy Fuck! Luke Bombs!
it's Luke Raley not Austin Riley. I assume you were thinking of Riley since you typed Riley
