Re: Projecting the OD starting lineup
Well, unless a couple key guys go through the moon but the rest wash out. =P But yeah, no true disagreement here!

Re: Redskins are changing their name
I wonder if the Indians from India are offended. They would be if they had a caricature of a brown skinned person with a Turban grinning on a uniform. This is an ugly mental picture, isn't it? And I'll cop to not being fond of Chief Wahoo. What makes the Minnesota Vikings' mascot okay, in contrast?

Re: Redskins are changing their name
You first misconception is that you think people are "offennded" . People are motivated not offended. What exactly motivates them, then? I narrowly avoided a snarky answer there (huge personal weakness), but, serious question. 'First' implies more, but you haven't expanded. And I'm not certain how ...

Re: Redskins are changing their name
How did 'Redskins' become a racial slur? It doesn't seem to have the history other terms do, for example, in the African and African American community. Those kinds of terms I'd oppose having a sports team represent, no question, why are we even discussing it?! My sense of the 'Redskins' situation -...

Re: Projecting the OD starting lineup
I have two aspirations for this season, in order. 1.) Developing young talent, to the point the M's jump into the 2020-2021 offseason FA market. 2.) The #1 draft pick, as per the Strat-O-Matic simulated season to date. That is all. If the OD lineup helps with #2 w/o hurting #1, frankly, I'm over the...

I'm just happy with the sheer amount of talent in the pool right now.

Re: Pac 12 Preview
Stanford is interesting. Was 2019 an abberation or the new normal? They could be supremely undervalued. Injuries rocked Shaw's world last year. Maybe they don't go back to their 10-win seasons in one swell foop, but I could see 8-9 without TOO much squinting, and 6-7 seems semi-automatic (intentiona...

Re: According to Kevin Calabro...
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this way. By way of introduction... I'm a huge M's fan, a growing Stanford Cardinal and Seahawks fan, and born and raised in Seattle. I didn't follow sports much in my growing-up years, but went to college in 2001 - the M's wins total posted daily on ...
