There is little worse than an umpire calling a strike on a 3-0 pitch that's clearly out of the strike zone.

Another off-speed pitch on 3-2 over the heart of the plate and now Zavala whiffs. I just don't get it, these guys are major league hitters, right? I mean, at the very least they should be able to put pitches like that in play, right?

Is it sad that I'm rooting for 2x 3-2 counts worked by M's batters that resulted in outs as if they were home runs?

What really sucks is Raley protected successfully on two pitches that broke a little outside and then whiffed on a hanging meatball.

Gil hung some off-speed pitches in the middle of the strike zone that inning. I wonder what would have happened if he'd thrown those to the Yankee hitters.

Every single game is going like this. Every. Single. One.

So we have bigger-name starting pitchers who pitch half their games in a pitcher's park, yet the worst Yankee starter ERA (Cortes at 3.29) is better than four of our starting pitcher's ERAs.

Pretty much every game we go 1-2-3 in the first inning no matter who's pitching, and these are supposed to be our top 3 hitters. Why does this team always come out so unprepared?
