Re: HOFer (inevitable) Ichiro Suzuki
I don't think that's true. he wasn't that great in center. in 2007 he played 155 games in center field he had a 0.8 dWAR. The year before and the year after he had a 1.0 and a 0.9 dWAR respectively playing primarily in right field. All that says is his defensive value was about equal. It's the posi...

Re: HOFer (inevitable) Ichiro Suzuki
One thing about the 60 WAR argument on Ichiro is that he was just as good at 20 as he was at 27, hitting .385 in Japan. If he starts his career in the majors he's a 90-100 WAR player, easily. Same with Edgar beginning at age 21 and if we want to play the IF game then lets not have him get injured i...

Re: OT - 2024 Playoffs
Wow, the Lions blew that game in the most Detroit Lion way possible. They had that game in hand, and they just repeatedly shot themselves in the feet. And as good of a job as Campbell did this season, he did some really dumb things in that second half.

Re: Most obscure Mariner of all time
My first instinct would be to look for someone who played the inaugural season, barely played at all, did nothing, and never played in the majors again.
I give you Tom McMillan of the 1977 Mariners.

Re: Joey Daccord for President !!!
So glad Joey finally took over the starting goalie position from The Human Sieve. I hope they trade Grubauer for a bag of rocks. GO JOEY !!!!!!!!!!! I wonder if Gru is even tradable. The Kraken would have to foot some of his salary, but three straight seasons with a save percentage under .900 one w...

Streaky team
An 8-game losing streak followed by a 9-game winning streak, and just when the guys were on a roll Beniers, Burakofsky and Dunn get hurt and now we've got a 4-game losing streak in which the team has scored a total of 4 goals. Get this team healthy and with Daccord we'll see more winning streaks. Fr...

Re: Maybe we got too excited about Saban leaving?
The first thing the UW program should do is propose home-and-away games against Bama and if they agree, play both games like the prison team from Necessary Roughness and get revenge. Seriously, DO IT.
Re: The Natty
Yeah, this was Super Bowl XL. If I was a Michigan fan I'd be pissed. They really did out play us. Imagine winning by 21 and having the officiating called into question!? I don't have a Twitter account, and most of my Facebook friends are bitter Cougar fans rejoicing right now, so I don't know about...
Re: The Natty
Social media is ripping all over the one-sided officiating so it isn't just us. Even though we didn't play well and took 11 points off the board, if the officiating is on the level at the very least we would have had a decent shot at winning. How many replays tonight did we see of Michigan players g...
