He works for the mariners. Think we are getting a little carried away calling with the criticism

Re: 5/24 GT vs Nationals
Actually that's what you do, that's the significant two strike approach, choke up on the bat and stand closer to the plate. I'm wondering who does that, Brett Boone did i believe. So I'm looking at choking the bat. Barry Bonds choked up on the bat, i mean all the time. This is getting of topic but t...

Re: 5/24 GT vs Nationals
I'm no hitting coach but i'd say he needs to swing in a more controlled way, either shortening his swing later in counts or sacrificing a little bat speed. I thought his main problem this season has been off-speed stuff inside particularly with 2 strikes. What I'm saying i don't know how practical ...

Re: Sometimes You Have To Lose To Win
Sure, but they still have multiple seasons of control over the pitching they have. They aren't losing any pitchers over at least the next two seasons. I don't see why this would be the apex

Re: 5/24 GT vs Nationals
Is it just possible that his success at the Home Run derbies had an impact on his hitting approach during games? Home run derbies affecting batting is an urban legend In general that is true but i'm suggesting the possibility that in Julio's case it may not be. Hasn't it been observed that he seems...

Re: 5/24 GT vs Nationals
Julio Rodriguez the guy that hit like 57 HRs in the HR Derby has a .306 SLG% Just defies any sort of logical explanation. Could have won a billion dollars on a $20 bet if you correctly predicted that. Just insane. Is it just possible that his success at the Home Run derbies had an impact on his hit...
