The progression of Kelenic and Jrod are going to be interesting. From what I have read about Kelenic, he is the baseball equivalent of a gym rat and has had a lot of opportunity train at baseball facilities, etc. His skill set is fairly refined. In comparison, from what I can gather Jrod is operating more off of pure talent right now. It'll be cool to see how far both of these kids can go.

Good find, snoopy reporter! Was that TJ surgery, shoulder, or what?
Maybe 6'8" Povse and 6'8" J.T. Salter can become the Two Beasts of the Pen together as Mariner relievers.

Twin Towers but not Twin Beasts?
If Max lays around in bed recovering and eating Salter caramel ice cream and Salter magic brownies, well, the results could be very expansive :o

Can't imagine being 6'8" 185lbs. I was 5'11" 185 lb in my early twenties and wasn't close to being overweight. 9 inches taller at the same weight is insane.

It's such an oddity to watch guys like Chris Sale wing it 96mph while the gust from a fart would knock them over.

That's why I believe wing span plays a part in pitching.

Like building Stonehenge with pulleys and levers. Longer levers..

Those things you use to fling tennis balls for dogs. You can throw the ball a mile with no effort for no reason other than it extends your wingspan two feet. Science meet baseball.

So never draft or trade for a pitcher with t-rex wingspan, right?

Point is those guys won't ever get there. Great for hitters, like Vogelbach and Seager.
