Does Miller have a first name and a team that he belongs to?Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 1:57 amMiller is not a short term rental. I'm pretty sure he'd come with 5 years of control.
But yes, he would cost an arm and a leg.
I think the M's would actually be more interested in a short-term rental than anything long term in the bullpen given the control of Munoz, Brash, and Santos.
A guy like Helsley would actually be perfect cause he's a free agent in '26... would cover Brash's injury.

Sorry - he's been all over the news as trade bait for the A's because he has absolutely dominated as their closer. I guess I assumed everyone knew who we were talking about.
And SoB is right (and I was wrong) - he's not a rental. He is under control till 2029. But his asking price will be sky high.

I don't know about the name Mason Miller. Sounds like he's trying to do too much.
Is he a miller, working at a grain mill; or a mason, working with stone?
Pick a trade, bozo.

Well, he's a relatively new player at the major league level and Miller is a fairly common last name. I think, in general, first and last names of players isn't asking too much. Or at least try to do that at least once in a reply thread. I mean, if I just started randomly talking about Smith in the middle of a thread most people wouldn't know who I was talking about.Big_Maple wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 6:52 pmSorry - he's been all over the news as trade bait for the A's because he has absolutely dominated as their closer. Polanco: my hamstring is kinda tight.
Seattle general manager Justin Hollander said in hindsight the team should have put Polanco on the injured list after the first occurrence. Polanco is expected to undergo an MRI on Tuesday but the initial feeling is he should be ready in about two weeks.
