I wonder what happened to Kelenic's power? Even when he was sucking hard for the M's, his one redeeming quality was that he would hit the ball out. His last Home Run was June 9th. Its been 211 PA since his last HR. His first 2 seasons in Seattle he averaged 1 home run every 26 Plate appearances.

Marco Gonzales to the Injured List for the Pirates. 3 starts. The first was 1 ER in 5 IP. The last two were each 2 ER in 6 IP.

Was going to say, it has been over 300 days since his last HR. Just bizarre. Baseball is a trip.

And he is in the first slump of the season.

Really is no team like the Mariners when it comes to producing talent that goes 2 for 40...

The inability of players from this organization to break slumps is something that needs to be studied.

JP, for instance, is 8 for his last 50 with 1 XBH. Julio? 9 for his last 47 with 0 XBH.

The avg college hitter would luck into more power.

Mitch Garver is literally worse than Tommy La Stella
Jorge Polanco is literally worse than Kolten Wong
Luke Raley is literally worse than AJ Pollock

How is this F-ing possible without a Super natural force in play????
Hey DT, you sound so pessimistic. Weren’t you waxing ebullient about all the added offense?

Seems like a distant memory.
The fact that every single position player was killing it in ST gave me the hope that they would at least be average. Stupid me.

lol.

Other than Polanco turning it around, I'm not sure how you're expected to be optimistic when your 1 and 2 hitters have a collective slugging % of less than .500.

Don't look now, but Jesse Winker is hitting .354/.483/.521/1.004 with the Nationals. 17 hits in 48 ABs... 9 walks, 10 k's in 60 PA's.

Lovely.

Fuck him too! Tired of these dipshits being too fragile to hit a baseball in frigid Seattle's big old ballpark! Didn't they move the fences in since Boone, Olerude, Edgar and others tore the cover off the ball here? Didn't Ichiro win an MVP by hitting a baseball here? Must be the sticky stuff making the ball spin to much to hit it in Seattle. Not sure why that doesn't translate when they leave.

Teo, Geno, Stinker and JK can all kiss my ass. :D
