Re: MLB Playoffs contest
Well, my Cards are still in the hunt.... I'm picking the Cards against the Yankees.... so we should have the two teams with the greatest number of team world championships competing and the Cardinals closing the gap between the two teams this year. Cardinals ascent rests of a great catcher, great first baseman, and the best defensive keystone pair in the major leagues.... just my opinion...
As for "hating the Yankees", all you have to do for me to hate you is to put on pinstripes..... period.

I recall he pitched a no-hitter years ago.Hasslecracked wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 3:16 amUnbelievable thing is Sanchez is their #4 starter. Unreal
Re: MLB Playoffs contest
The problem with filling it all out at the beginning is if you WS winner gets knocked out in the first round you have no chance and but the time the WS starts you only have two people that even care.DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 1:50 amYes, I'm thinking in terms of fun, fair, and competitive. IMO, It's most fun (and easier) to just fill out the whole bracket at the beginning rather than go round by round. But, in a round by round format, it's definitely to your advantage if you know what the other players have picked before you make your selections, especially going into the WS round. If you need to catch up to someone, you absolutely must pick the opposite WS winner as them.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 9:55 pmThis is for fun.DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 9:01 pmI pick Yankees and Nationals.

That part doesn't change. By the end there's only going to be one or two people who have a chance to win in either format.

When's the last time a team got no hit thru 6 innings in back to back playoff games?
