Rooting for the Yankees?

Post by Oso Dorado » Sun Oct 13, 2019 3:11 am

... but I am happy that they are beating the Astros.
I guess I know which team I detest the most :x

I am impressed by how the Yankees overcame a plethora of injuries to have a great record. Maybe that’s a part of it.

Totally with you. Lesser of two evils. They rebuilt the right way. Didn't have to lose 300+ games in three years.

I will be rooting for the Nats to beat them in the WS. Never won less than 84 games during their "rebuild". Cashman is a HOFer.

Yep that is why we would have a great shot if we bothered to make an effort. That game 5 performance was epic. Boras hasn't been this excited since after the 2000 season.

So the mighty Astros have lost 3 of 4 and had to cheat to win the game they won. Also, the guy that won the game for them will be an Astro for another week tops. That's why I take the doom and gloomers insistence that its impossible that we ever catch them with a giant grain of salt. Its baseball, a little different than predicting where the sun will rise and set.

Wild. He's 10 days younger than me. Servais is 19 days older than me.

For a guy that weighed in about 80 lbs soaking wet...He sure acted like a giant..lol
Weebs hated a lot of things around the old forum.....I doubt he would ever admit he was wrong about Cashman
