it was Hultzen they took over Rendon
Yep.
My bad. I meant Springer over Ackley and Rendon over Hultzen. Those were my 2 choices those years. I had Kirby pegged perfectly this year as well as Kelenic last year. So Bravo Mariners. Although Kelenic took a weird road to get here. I cried when the Mets took him.

Phillies supposed to have a hard on for Rendon now, and its attributed to the owner, not the GM

I fell in love with Rendon (not in a gay way) during the playoffs and WS. I would love to have that guy. Cooler than Fonzie and an Edgar like bat.
Yeah, add Cole and Rendon and we're competing now. I don't know what they're waiting on.

It's almost like they're just waiting out the other teams that are good, like maybe we'll have an easier window in a couple years.

Yeah, it's stupid. But that's why it could be a possibility in the M's case.
Only a possibility???? My vote would be definite stupidity in the M's case

No one could've predicted that. He was NEVER on my radar in the Top 10.

It's ok, cause the Mets are the one's crying now.

How about JA Happ for Dee Gordon. And move some money around to where it offsets Happ's remaining year to make it an even swap for Gordon. Otherwise, no deal. I know the Yanks just lost Didi to the Phillies and Seattle is looking for another veteran SP. Thoughts?
