I'm assuming Felix chose a spot where he would actually have a solid chance to make the rotation? It's cool to see him going for it. Some predicted he wouldn't accept an offer like this. I would've liked to see the Ms give him the first shot. What's $1 million? Oh well, maybe there will be a pitching coach in Atlanta that can teach Felix how to properly pitch like an old man. Perhaps it will be good to get away from having his own personal cheering section every game. Coeurd’Alene J is predicting he won't make it back t to the big leagues, and he may be right. However, I also wouldn't be terribly surprised if he was able to find some success as an NL starter. I'm rooting for him to find some more success, but it will also be frustrating if he actually does find a groove pitching for the Braves.

The Braves will turn him around. He'll be Greg Maddox in no time!

The guy virtually steals $100 mil for 26 wins over 4 years, who cares what he does?

Current Braves starters per Roster Resource and 2019 stats:

Mike Soroka 22 yo 13-4 2.68 ERA 3.45 FIP
Max Fried 26 yo: 17-6 4.04 ERA 3.72 FIP
Cole Hamels 36 yo: 7-7 3.81 ERA 4.09 FIP
Mike Foltynewicz 28 yo: 4.54 ERA 4.97 FIP
Sean Newcomb 26 yo: 3.16 ERA 4.24 FIP

Felix 34 yo: 1-8 6.40 ERA 6.00 FIP

I guess he can hope for those guys to get injured.

Not sure what he's thinking, that's about the last place he has a shot to make the rotation.

Maybe they can fix him and he'll be offered a spot somewhere else when they don't pick up his contract by a certain date.

Probably more about what the Braves are thinking. I didn’t see any reports of Felix having other MLB offers (I would have thought they’d have leaked out).

Rick Kranitz is their PC, and doesn’t specifically have a rep for rehabbing veteran arms.

Probably a decent chance he gets up at some point. Maybe with the hopes of making their postseason roster.

Looking at it from likelihood of a team that will make the postseason, maybe that's his angle.

Man Ichiro didn't even play in the minors. Can't imagine Felix at 34 yo in a Gwinnett Stripers jersey.
