Oh, fuck him. It reminds me of Pujols’ wife whining that the Cards ‘disrespected’ Albert by not resigning him to a deal that made no sense for anyone but Albert.

or you could say, if you pay a guy $260 mil you probably should treat him respectfully, sounds like something to do with the trade rumors, doesn't sound good

I think part of the "disrespect" is the team being crappy and virtually nothing being done this offseason.

yeah, like he is pushing for a trade?...its odd though, a guy signs a contract, sure its a lot of money, but he does seem to want to be there, they can just wait for FA and get their money. When a team succeeds in keeping their talent its supposed to be a feel good story. And its not like anything has really changed about the Rockies...

I don't know anything about the Rockies situation, but I agree he could use a little more tact in expressing his feelings.

I think in some cases the players are coached by their beady eyed, rodent faced, hand rubbing agents to make these declarations.

Arenado's a big baby. I've lost a ton of respect for him this winter. It rankles me that people think he's the best defensive 3b of the generation when Manny Machado can turn circles around him with the glove and arm.
