I watched from the 10th floor deck of the 2nd and Seneca (Ban roll on) building with my family.

Re: Great MLB news
We watched from our living room, which was then up in the forest on South Tiger Mtn. I was sad to see it go, although I was very excited for an outdoor ballpark, and Safeco was better than I could ever hope for.
I still have a couple of post cards showing the artists impression of what a new park would look like across the street from FX McRory (also sadly missed), and just north of the Kingdome location. It was tentatively called King Street Ballground, and looked a lot like Jack Murphy stadium in San Diego.

M's first game at the Safe was July 1999. Kingdome was imploded March 2000. It made way for Century Link field. I actually went to a Hawks game at Husky stadium.Petert wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 3:20 pmWe watched from our living room, which was then up in the forest on South Tiger Mtn. Unless you're a Mariners fan, then it just drags.......D-train wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:59 pmScary thing is to think how quickly those twenty flew by and then think how old you will be 20 years from today..............Life's short.BaseHitDerby wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:43 pmMan, time flies by so quick. I'm telling you, it seems like a lot of writers lurk these forums. Back on the old ST forum, I would bring stuff up. Within a few days or week, there would be articles on the exact things I mentioned. This didn't happen a lot and it could have been just a coincidence, but I did notice it right away.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:29 pmBastards at LL stole my park is closed Meme.
