Exactly. Wasn't like there were a lot of #'s to choose from when I selected. Just for the record I had them at the same Win Pct. as last year which would've put them at 25 wins. So best of luck to Petert, cause that would've been my prediction.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 3:11 pmI wasn't being pessimistic or optimistic, that was the only number that was left

It will be really disappointing if that is the number. A 3-10 finish would ruin all the good will and confidence they built mid season. I would be happy to donate $50 to such a nice guy though.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 4:08 pmExactly. Wasn't like there were a lot of #'s to choose from when I selected. Much appreciated, but I was just speaking matter of factly is all. I really hope we win out and make the post season. I did not expect us to be contending for a playoff spot, much less possibly knocking out the Astros to do so. Its been a weird year. Wouldn't it be something if 2020 was the year of all years to break the drought?D-train wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 5:11 pmIt will be really disappointing if that is the number. I was talking about Peter. lol We now have a 1.7% chance to make the playoffs. Need to sweep the Astros and still have a better record than them in remaining games. Just choked hard last night.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:46 pmMuch appreciated, but I was just speaking matter of factly is all. I really hope we win out and make the post season. Ok good. I thought it was kinda odd that you'd say something like that to me lol. 1.7% is still a chance. Remember how many we were behind the Angels back in '95? 2-6 against 3 playoff teams and your money is mine DT! I'd feel a little more confident if I'd picked 25. That comeback against the As may be what costs me. On top of that, the Mariners are only 1 game back of a top 6 pick.
I want to see the players do well, but definitely wouldn't be upset with 50 bucks and the #5 or 6 pick in the draft.
