How tall is mom, Bil522? I step aside for your Mom on 8/11

Post by rockycola » Tue Aug 11, 2020 6:06 am

Tuesday's game thread will be brought to us by Bil522.
It's his thread to win or lose for his Mother on her 75th birthday. As Mr. ddraig said on another thread, mom is only 8 years older than each of us.

Respect your elders, sonny boys.

Be clever with the title, short stuff, and be wary of the possible curse lurking in the game thread closet.

Where will Bil522 be in the standings tomorrow night? Pray for Marco the Masterful and his Marauding Mariners to mash Mike Minor and the misfit meatheads to dust.

GAME THREAD STANDINGS

rockycola………….………. 6-2
American Pig...…….…. 1-1
DavidGee………..………… 0-1
Juliooooo………..….…... 0-1
AT Fresno...……..……… 0-2
D-Train...………..………. 0-4

Mariner record...……..7-11

Just win Bl522, just win!
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Thanks Rock....she is short....only 5 '9"....my dad was only 6'2. Where I got my height no one knows. We had a family gathering of over 450 relatives...there were two 3rd cousins that were twins that were 6'5 each....but that was as close as anyone got. Lots of people took pics with me because they wanted to prove to their friends they had a tall relative

My dad was 6'2" and I'm 6'1". I have a nephew who is 6'5". Takes after his great-grandfather. My mom was 5'3". My older brother? 6'. Older sister? 5'10". My little sister was 5'2". Used to tell her she was adopted when we were growing up.

Just a little trivia, [and going from memory].....
1 out of 100 US men are 6' 4" or taller.
6 out of 1 million women are 6' 4" or taller.
5' 9" for a woman is probably equal to 6' 0 for a man.

Average height per CDC is 5'9" for Men and 5'4" for women.

So a 5'9 woman would be equivalent to a 6'2 1/2" man.

Nah 5'4" is average height of US women vs 5'9" for US men so 5'7" is kinda above average for a woman vs 6' being above average but not tall for a man.
