They usually make for interesting reading, but in articles like that, almost none of those things happen. Articles like that are almost always written just for the sake of it.

The only big time guy we should make a run at is Bauer and only for a one year contract. Let's just try to go after two solid guys like Walker, one of the two potentially good closers or maybe Brantley or Colome. Let the kids play and develop.
I drink some Crown to that. I am actually literally drinking some Crown to that right now.

I got a bit of a sun burn down here in AZ City while sitting at the pool. Talk about the middle of nowhere but the sun is here.
Is your choice the standard Crown blended Canadian ? The rye ? That vanilla flavored abortion ? Or are we talking Royal Crown Cola ?
Oh yeah Stone Cold Crown Royal my brother. Ira Hayes by Johnny Cash

If they don't trade Kyle Seager, I don't think you have an opening at 2B with both Moore and France on the team. Call me crazy.

I'm not a fan of Wong or Inciarte to weaken the lineup for whatever reason.

So the plan is to spend money and have a $112M payroll with a 77-85 projected record. Can't wait!

One final point. Not an expert on Wong but the fact the Cards didn't pick up his option tells me all I need to know.
It’s simply Wong

Joking aside, going back what, 15 years (?)....Seattle seems to be a place where FA infielders come to die: Gordon...Figgins...Aurilia...Cirillo...Spezio...

Given his non-tender, Wong just seems to be the next name to join that illustrious pantheon of greats.

Ty France could open at designated hitter and Dylan Moore could open in left field where he made 13 of his 24 outfield appearances this year.
