Not So Trivial Trivia Quiz

1. Last pitcher to throw 300 innings
2. Franchise with most Rookies Of The Year
3. Franchise most Cy Young Winners
4. Franchise most MVPs
5. Pitcher with most Cy Young Awards
6. ROY & Cy Young same year...who did it..?
7. MVP & Cy Young same year...who did it..?
8. ROY & MVP same year...who did it..?

Obscure fact..only 16 Hall Of Famers were ROY..seems like it should be more.

1. Steve Carlton...way back in 1980
2. Dodgers have produced 18 ROYs
3. Dodgers have produced 12 Cy Young Winners..next closest franchises have 7 each. Yanks only have 5..!
4. Yanks have produced 22 MVPs.... STL has 20 MVP winners
5. Roger Clemons has 7 Cy Youngs
6. Fernando Valenzuela
7. Vida Blue just 22 years old
8. Fred Lynn..wonder what his salary was..?

How many did you know before you you scrolled down to the answers..?
I knew the Dodgers have dominated ROY and Cy Young..the Yanks MVP
I was surprised Carlton was the last 300 Inning Man in 1980 no less. I would have guessed Jack Morris, or Clemons did it more recently.

Probably 2 or 3. The ones I would have scored on for were Carlton and ClemEns. I think I would have guessed Fernando "El Toro" right.

I cheated and looked at the list of Super Bowl MVPs and AL MVPs.
