Maybe they shouldn't have promoted Julio to Modesto... and just had him skip it and go straight to Arkansas. 4-5 with a double and a grand slam. 110 mph exit velo.

thought that was interesting from Drayer, the part from McKay on learning about injuries and trying to play hurt or not

He's been my guy for a long time. Kelenic may have more overall talent and speed, but Julio is going to be a fan favorite. His personality is infectious, and everyone that meets him raves about him. He's only going to get bigger and stronger. He could become a 40-50 HR guy. I really see Nelson Cruz type potential, only capable of paying RF everyday.

Cruz's OPS is almost 200 points higher this year than last and is the highest of his career at age 38. Only needs 8 more HRs for 400.

AT and I were watching him take BP in AZ in March from about 25 feet away and he had a bit of a rough go in one session. AT always being model of tact yells, "hey Julio, I think you need a new bat!" Most guys in his position probably wouldn't have appreciated the humor at that moment but he looked over and gave a huge smile. I am also amazed at his English as an 18 yo who have never even lived stateside. His English is a lot better than Ichiro's who lived here for 18 years.

Being in a stacked lineup with 10 guys over .800 OPS and 13 guys .750 or more certainly doesn't hurt. Always has runners on, and can't just pitch around him to get to 2018 Seager, Healy, Zunino, etc...

I was at the game last night as the Nuts scored 13 runs, J rod got 4 hits including the grand slam, Rizzo hit in his 9th straight game.... If he hadn't lost a couple month this year with the hairline fracture, he might already be at Arkansas with Kelenic....

Marte, trying to not be outdone by Julio, went 4-5 with 2 2B and a 3B. No grand slam though. He's been hot the last few games. Slash line up to .295/.358/.480/.838
