Gilbeau has logged 1 inning since his callup, Elias on the IL.

My money's on Gilbeau the rest of the season.

Gilbeau at 3 IP 3.00 ERA

Elias still on the IL, the other lefty in the Nationals bullpen sporting a 6.26 ERA.

So, what has this Gilbo Baggins fellow done to
1. merit his own thread
2. have it updated on a regular basis

?

He's taking Elias place on our team while Elias' veteran presence was supposed to be more important than on-field production down the stretch for the Nationals than if they had just brought up Gilbeau.

Luckily Elias can still be present, even if injured, amirite. That's what they were after, afterall.

In a season without much left to talk about you guys spend way too much time bitching about what does get said.

Say something interesting if it bores you. Contribute something instead of whining like a little Seattle scarf-wearing Dave-Sims-hat-wearing douchenozzle.

Sounds reasonable. In a season like this you have to pluck storylines from the murky depths, so to speak. Plus, it gave me a great opportunity to say "Gilbo Baggins".
