What's up with all this paternity leave crap. Sure it's about projecting proper priorities and all that but come on, this is baseball. Nobody gives a crap about your brat. Go earn your bloated contract and play

I think a happy medium would be good. One day off for the birth and maybe the day after but none of this 4-5 days off BS. Not allowing any leave at all is insane but that used to be the way of the world until very recently...
However, he should not miss more than three team games. The paternity leave policy was inducted in the MLB at the start of the 2011 season. As per the replacement policy, the team can use another player from its 40-man roster in place of the player on paternity leave.Apr 25, 2023

Damn congrats to the France family. Yikes Cantzone is gifted more free abs. I would send him down and keep Taylor if he does well. Gonna be used for speed late. Hoping they give him a start somewhere. Skankees get shutout in thier home opener. 2nd shutout for them already this season. Our offense is really bad but a lineup with Soto and Judge and can't score in 2 games is pretty bad. Hoping our bats heat up on the road. Gotta start hitting!

First shutout on opening day at home since 1967. Wow that is crazy!

Both of our best two hitters atm are below replacement level with -0.1 bWAR. Haniger and France.

Seems like when we play like shit at home we always leave and play better on the road. If we lose 3 in a row starting our big three that would suck.
