I dunno what the M's plan to do this offseason. Depends on how well they do this season with all of their Dollar Store additions. Shit, if they make it to the post season, they might get rid of "expensive" pieces like JRod as proof that their Filene's Basement Strategy is effective. :(

But if they get close, but no cigar, they may actually decide to go after a big name or two this offseason. They could get rid of France and make a serious run at the Polar Bear. He's a free agent this offseason. He's got 7 dingers this season so far which is 7 more than France.

Hyperbole. Don't know about anyone else's comments, but my comment was more of an editorial on the M's offseason strategies lately.
