well if i am an owner, and my players seem to lack motivation, I am looking at my coach. If he tells me, hey, its up to those guys to figure that out for themselves, out the door he goes

Sure, bad coaches can have a demoralizing effect on the players. Perhaps when they observed their coaches mailing it in last week the players did not feel like giving their best effort during the game.

PC is not a bad coach, he does not have a demoralizing effect on his players, I believe he would have more to say on the topic than its up to the players to figure it out

Wasn't talking about Carroll.

They still control their own destiny for the division, but need help for the #1 seed. I haven’t completely lost faith, but I sure am sick to death of us making the Lambs look like world beaters every year.

the injury situation is not looking so good now...of course every team is facing the same issues but still...it is remarkable how RW makes it through season after season, it really is the one thing they have going for them

Now we know how the Cougs feel. Only difference is we can't stop their offense and the Cougs can't do anything vs. our D.

Bell pointed out that it was 60 degrees and RW was the only guy on the field wearing a parka on the sidelines. He thinks he had the influenza but he wouldn't admit to it.

You can't enough appreciate how despite the organization's best efforts to get him killed, Wilson has over his entire career only missed what, a few plays? Beyond remarkable. Just imagine if the Hawks were like most other franchises and emphasized pass protection. If Belichek was Wilson's coach his numbers would be Barry Bonds-like.

Other than Penny the team seems to be in really good health right now.

That's five games in a row where their offense has had their way with our defense, and it really seemed like the Hawk coaching staff didn't see it coming. That early drive where they ran three times into the line and then punted just wasn't very smart. With the defense we have this year you have to fight fire with fire against those guys. Granted, their pass rush is a lot better but downfield Russell Wilson > downfield Jared Goof.

And almost no blitzing either. Yeah, you risk big plays downfield but you've got to get in Goof's face. The one time they laid a hit on him we got seven points.
