With a 14 team playoff format I calculated that there is a .3% chance of missing the playoffs 10 seasons in a row. lol

Wow. I'm bummed. Not just because I thought this team had enough horses to get to the playoffs and maybe make a little noise, but really, with the entire NFL product in general.

I've been watching since 1965. The game is way less fun to watch than it used to be for me. And then to sit there for three hours to watch officials blow calls, miss calls, make phantom calls -- slow down the game and manipulate the outcome time and time again -- it's just not fun anymore.

They've fucked with the rules so much in the name of safety that the game has gotten totally pussified. And you would think for all the concessions to safety, huge improvements in equipment and helmets, concussion protocols...players might be able to stay on their feet longer. But now it seems like someone is injured on every play, despite all the conditioning improvements and trainers.

And then the whole NFL Woke Bandwagon Message with helmets that say Embrace Love, Equity...it never stops. Cut to Taylor Swift in a suite, watching her boyfriend. Plus, a lot of really shitty announcers calling games and I am way sick of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Ugh, rant concluded, Happy New Year, you guys. I might be playing a lot more golf on Sundays next season instead of devoting the day to watching this bullshit lol.
