Believe it or not there is a 70% chance we make the playoffs if we win next weekend. Screenshot 2023-12-31 7.08.11 PM.png
Sitting at Pick 20 in next year's Draft.
Hopefully there is a good QB at #20. After that, you draft nothing but OL and DL. None of this CB shit.
Can't agree more. Drafting this great thin and light-hard hitting CB has helped so much. So, much that we had to blow a 2nd and 5th on a DT. This tiny CB can't stay healthy with his hard hitting--who could have seen that. Great player, but his style has already played out with injury.
Dline or oline!!! I guess we won't spend 2nd straight 2nd rounder on a RB either. Since we don't have a second.

Even better! But after the QB, they should be getting in a herd of Big Uglies. D Line for sure, but a Center and a Guard would be helpful.

I see why the Michigan kid dropped to the 5th. He get bulldozed. He isn't very good.

Draft and sign Dline and oline!!!!! Cut the dead weight.

I think if we lose next week he might be gone next season.
Who will fire him? Judy Allen?

He answers to no one.
We'll see. I think she demanded changes a few years ago when like two weeks went by before they fired Shotty and Norton. Why would it take PC two weeks after the season to make that decision????
Because he forgot where he put his chewing gum and it took his senile old ass that long to find it?

They literally drafted a D Lineman, a Center and a Guard in this last draft.

Problem is….not till the 4th round.

A corner with the 5th. An RB in the 2nd is the problem.

Not saying they aren’t good players. Just the wrong ones. I know debatable on Spoon.

I don't think you can fine tune a draft like that, projecting needs. If you get players that make your roster you've won the draft. Immediate needs can get filled with FA

When they made the Jones trade and I checked his PFF rating in the 50s I knew he would be a massive over pay. PFF is far from perfect but guys rated in the 50s are not good and sure enough.

Pete got schooled yesterday on what it takes to be a run first team. I doubt he learned anything though.

Schooled through and through. This game was embarrassing. And I've never seen anyone get so excited over a field goal.

There's a lot of anger right now with this team, myself included, but I believe this team is so much better than what we're seeing on the field. Yes, we need to shore up the trenches, but what this team really needs is some sound coaching. The list of deficiencies is lengthy...

- no offensive game plan
- no defensive game plan
- no adjustments
- settle for field goals
- clock management is weak
- inability to tackle

I asked this question before... do the coaches simply meet at the VMAC for cocktails while Pete practices his gum chewing, or do they actually watch game tape and devise a game plan for the opponent?
