Jamal also has a dead cap hit. We need to shed as much salary as possible. Gotta get younger everywhere.
DK is old?
26 years of age. He's in his prime.
Yeah, that was kind of my point. I imagine that HM88 was still talking about Jamal, but the topic says receiver room, and there is talk of getting rid of both Tyler and DK, which I'd rather keep them both. But, mentioning age? Even Jamal isn't old, he is just broken. He didn't fit this defense, which is crazy because I scoffed when the Jets DC said we wouldn't know how to use him. But age isn't why he needs to go, and CERTAINLY isn't why getting rid of DK would make any sense.

I predict that 1 year from now we will be thinking about how crazy the "trade DK" idea was....

I know it was. And D-train is correct in saying that DK is a freak. To trade him away would be a mistake, in my opinion. You would have to get a lot for him to justify a trade.

Macdonald and his staff will figure this stuff out, and when they do I think we're going to see a very different team.

The Seahawks had the second-fewest rushing attempts in the NFL in 2023.
Let's see, two damn talented RBs or Geno. I know! Geno! Fuck NO!

Not sure what to make of that article, TBH. I've never heard of that guy until you posted that....Seaside Joe?

I have ADHD and that was long AF. I usually only have the attention span for a few paragraphs but I found it so fascinating I read every word. That was probably the best analytical Sports piece I have ever read in my LIFE.

Completely Eviscerated Salk's argument on EVERY level.

I write in here every day....doesn't mean I am any kind of an expert on what it takes to make a great NFL Offensive Line. I thought the playcalling was dogshit last year, and that the year before, K9 was pretty good with two Rookie Tackles that supposedly couldn't run block. Just not sure I'm ready to buy this guy as gospel because he writes something about the Seahawks every day. Telling us that the two Tackles played in the Air Raid is not news, neither is reminding us that they got hurt. Nor was telling us that it might not be worth the money to pay Damien Lewis, yet he talks about three different salary levels when discussing it.

Wasn't the easiest follow, IMO. If we draft the Center from Oregon, keep our two tackles and they are healthy? Why wouldn't Lewis help this O Line. The salary cap stuff worries me less and less every year. The Fucking Rams were supposed to have to cut their entire roster....yet seemed to be alright. Everyone that is supposed to have to pay the piper never seems to have to. The Chiefs were punished so hard for paying Mahomes they won back to back rings.
