Its a good thing the O-coordinator at UW was too dumb to figure out that Dissly can do more than just block.
The U of W has only had one OC in the Petersen era that should call plays anywhere besides HS. And that was Jeff Tedford, who was the "offensive consultant" hired to baby sit John Smith. The Huskies went to a Final 4, Tedford got hired elsewhere, and the Husky offense has been mediocre at best since.

So, I am far from surprised that Dissly was underused. Jake Browning went to a camp to prep for the NFL combine, and in about five minutes was asked why he doesn't use his lower body when throwing. Took one day at camp to figure out what Husky coaches missed for 4 years!

Well, while I dont disagree...the velocity changed a bunch after they worked with him. Blows me away.

And Hamdan was QB coach for one year with the Falcons before returning to UW in 2018. You would think he would have been able to help Browning with his mechanics, unless he wasn't allowed to work with the QB's for some reason. Anyway, if he wanted to be an offensive coordinator, he should have been cutting his teeth at JuCo or FCS level. No top FBS program should be hiring someone with no experience at the job to be a coordinator.

Browning never looked at TE usually. I’m happy with Eason but I don’t believe in the WR and definitely not the OC. I remember J Kearse at UW when they first played Nebraska and how he struggled with physical DBs. He improved after that horrible performance.

I don't get this ... Wilson wasn't throwing to Dissly in college. That has more to do with it than the O coordinator at UW.
No, but the Husky QB had no arm, so if they had used Dissly the way the Hawks do who knows? The more a husky football I watch the less faith I have in their staff making the correct decision.

It said that Aaron Rodgers is the most underrated underappreciated QB in the NFL. Dude probably deleted because he was getting shelled. lol
