I could be wrong but i felt i read somewhere they chose Penny specifically over Chubb

Hawks had their pick of running backs when they chose Penny. They could have picked anyone.

Something tells me they probably wish they had chosen Michel or Chubb. I know I do.

I thought Chubb looked pretty good today and of course Sony Michelol as well but from the rotowire draft

Then you would have been regretting drafting Chubb or Michel amd saying we should have drafted Penny. "Look how good he looks on Cleveland!"

The "problem " is not the talent of Penny but the greatness of Carson. Hawks just weren't expecting him to come back like this. They just got burned with Thomas Rawls and there was nothing to indicate that Carson would return not only healthy but master the offense and become a much improved pass catcher.
