#Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny tore his ACL in last night’s loss to the #Rams and is out for the season, source said. The MRI confirmed the news for the former first-round pick, who also has additional damage to his knee. He’s out until training camp. Tough injury.
The ACL be torn
The ACL be torn
Ironic given all the concern over Carson's injury history.

Re: The ACL be torn
Great, has any team been more snake-bit at the RB position over the past few years?

Some teams don't have any backs at all.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 4:25 amGreat, has any team been more snake-bit at the RB position over the past few years?
Re: The ACL be torn
This makes another major impact to the team's ability to win games.
Penny RB out for the year
Dissly TE out for the year
Dickson TE out for the year
Britt C Out year
Pocic G Out for the year
Defense
Naz Jones DT
Neiko Thorpe DB
There are several others on the IR but these guys were all starters or slotted for significant rotational PT. Dissly is a budding star in this offense in 10 games in his career he has 31 receptions 6 TDs and 418 yards. 42 yards a game but in year 2 this year had had an 85.2% completion percentage on balls thrown to him. That and T Lock presented a great 1-2 punch.
Penny was the clear #2 and showing signs that the #1 was worthy evaluation.
Britt was a starter and Pocic was the #1 depth at a number of positions on the line. Dickson further thinned the TE's.
Needless to say I am less confident after the Rams game than I was before.

Re: The ACL be torn
Pocic was no big loss. His only asset is his experience playing multiple positions at O-line. By the way, they are bringing him off IR this week to take Penny's roster spot.Hanjag wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 6:34 amThis makes another major impact to the team's ability to win games.

Swell.
I know who I'd like to see us take in the second round:
Najee Harris RB Alabama.

How about an offensive guard that can pass block and isn't guaranteed to pull a hamstring and miss several games every season?
Re: The ACL be torn
Why haven't we heard much about Jamarco Jones lately? He killed it replacing Fluker.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 3:39 pmHow about an offensive guard that can pass block and isn't guaranteed to pull a hamstring and miss several games every season?
