When is it about time we so away with the whole cheerleader BS like seriously. Their just eye candy for all the dudes. That and sex objects to boot.
Yeah let's force all women to wear burkas covering everything but their eyes like Iran and Saudia Arabia while we are at it.
That was extreme and boorish.. There have been Male cheerleaders in NCAA for decades.

That was in response to his inane suggestion that we should ban ALL cheerleaders. I don't care about having male dancers, I just think the reason they added them is ridiculous. If there was truly a significant portion of fans that desired to have them it would be reasonable but we all know the only did it for PC reasons.

Whats the point of having them they don't add anything to the experience. Their just glorified sex objects I mean lets be honest. They serve no purpose. The sport could survive without pompoms and short skirts.

Obviously it would survive without them but it would also survive without the over the top introductions and the raising of the 12th man flag and the video screen and all the other non football activities that go on. They add to the overall experience. Like strippers they voluntarily do what they choose to do so who cares if they are sex objects. If you have an issue with hot women in short skirts and boots maybe wear blinders so you can only see the football field. :|

I don't have an issue with them. Out of the 50k fans how many give a damn about them. If your paying attention to them instead of the game your just wasting your money.

None of that is a reason to ban them. There is a lot of down time in football. I can't think of anything better to look at during TOs and replay reviews.

I don't think they did it for PC reasons . It's to cover their a**
There might be a class action lawsuit . The way some of those girls were treated on other teams . Don't know about Hawks but Redskins and Carolina s*** the bed

I dated a girl for a long time who was Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader - they made, if I remember correctly, $50 (or maybe $35) a game. She had an amazing experience and it completely changed her life. She was a dance major at UT and the choreographer for the Dallas Sidekicks and that's how she got recruited to the DCC. She traveled all over Texas with the team (she always called it the dance team) for events and got to perform at US Bases in Germany, the Philippines and on an aircraft carrier off the Koreas - even got to go to the DMZ. She even worked on the DCC series, which I think was on E!. She made a lot of great friendships and relationships that opened doors for her. She became a producer at NBC (where we met), E!, and on and on. The dance team is not a career, and it's also what you make of it. DCC is the creme de la creme of that world, so it's handled accordingly - no fucking around and no fraternizing with the players. Another friend of mine was a Redskins cheerleader (and a Knicks City Dancer) and had a great time - she called bullshit on the redskins cheerleader stuff - said it was not true, in her experience - and is still friends with the chick who runs their cheer squad (as of last year). I know at least one girl from Edmonds was a SeaGal - DT, did you know Shannon Forrest? She may have dated or married Dave Wyman, I believe. The only people that have a problem with women using their looks and femininity to better their lives, are the same bitter feminist hags that no man wants any part of, so they want to stifle all women. If they had looks they could use, they would, but they can't, so they call it exploitation and other SJW BS phrases out of pure bitter jealousy. Ever notice 99% of 'feminists' are chicks that have to sneak up on a glass of water? #shocking.

So, I spent a few years pretending to tolerate the Cowboys. :P
