The Times writer today, suggests Ifedi has value to the Hawks because he at least stayed healthy all 18 games...
It isnt completely false. Think back over the years Ifedi was here. He hasn't missed many games. I cant thinking one other O Lineman that can go a week without being on the injury report or two or three weeks without missing snaps or games, and Ifedi plays every snap of every game?

I dont want him back, but it would sure be nice if everyone else wasn't so damn broken. And I then only one that thinks back to the Holmgren days when an injury to a lineman was an aberration and not the norm?

Not saying it's about Pete or Holmgren, just comparing the era's. Did those guys just play through injuries these guys dont? Is it actually the lack of actual practice time and off season workouts? I tend to blame the new CBA. These guys all have off season workouts, but they dont do Jack that is football related.

There's alot of truth to this. Hawks might retain Ifedi. If they don't another team will. He's due for a sizable payday. One of the main reasons is his durability. This is rare.

Ifedi played every single offensive down of the season this year. I think that goes beyond staying healthy, that is being tough. My crack about him leading the league in penalties was sarcasm, but I was wondering about that being prorated. The number of downs a guy plays is going to be a factor in the number of fouls they commit

Haha, no joke. He certainly had more opportunities to make plays than the rest of the line that took every third week off on average!

They should put into Fluker's contract that he has to spend at least 1 hour every day stretching his hamstrings out.

I think I would take Nick Harris over Britt and Hunt as well.

I like Nick Harris but 6'1" under 300 . I know he's a Center . Only 2 inches shorter than the best prospect but I don't want a player like that . Possible Joey Hunt all over again.

Helluva player though. There are 3 or 4 guys I would prefer but hell yeah I think he's an upgrade over what we got.

There's this crappy guy too...

6'5" 315.. Kinda reminds me of Unger.

If Hawks pass on Biadasz ( might go high after combine) I'm done. That might be unforgivable. Been watching him past two seasons. He's exactly what that line needs .
