I know the criticism is they don't get out of the first round of the playoffs. But to me its a pretty remarkable blend of evolving the team, keeping it young, as well as being considered to be going for it season after season.
This narrative that Seattle doesn't get out of the first round is utter nonsense. Since 2010, when PC/JS took over, Seattle has gotten out of the first round SEVEN times. How that equates to 'never getting out of the first round' is some really interesting math. 2018 was the only year they didn't get out of the first round - and in 2017 and 2013 they didn't qualify for the playoffs. Playoffs 8 out of ten seasons. Out of the first round 7 out of those 8 seasons. But yeah, they never get out of the first round. They flew cross country with a roster decimated by injuries last year - and still got out of the first round. So, getting out of the first round seven out of eight times = never getting out of the first round. lol!

here comes the 'yeah, but they never get out of the second round' arguments... lmfao! The sky is falling!!!

don't know a thing about fantasy football, seems a disconnect to actual football, RW the 76th most valuable player?
Chris Carson is the most valuable Seahawk in fantasy. Russell Wilson, who is clearly the player Seattle can least afford to lose, is ranked 76th. Wilson is the sixth-highest rated quarterback, behind quarterbacks like Kyler Murray. However, showing just how valued running backs are in the fantasy world, Carson is the 19th highest-ranked back.
Fantasy is based on points scored. QBs with more chances are going to be ranked higher. That being said, not sure what site this is, but I imagine most sites with have him higher than sixth.

QB are often rated lower than other positions simply because of the discrepancy between the top tier and others in points. You can often times draft a QB several rounds later and have the point totals be similar. That doesn’t happen as often with backs and wide receivers.

It is nothing close to real. That being said, put Russ on the Rams team that lost the Super Bowl and my guess is he has a season that would be talked about as historic in the fantasy world. Many Fantasy sites will warn you to beware taking Seahawk passing game players just due to lower reps. Not too many years ago Blake Bortles was huge in fantasy. He would put up hundreds of yards and multiple TDs...all late in garbage time. Fantasy relevant only because he played on a bad team. A good fantasy day for a QB could be 350 yards with 3 TDs and multiple picks...and the team losses. Russ doesn’t have many of those.

I will target him this year, but I won’t get him. He will go early because I play against mostly all Seahawk fans. It’s almost always far earlier than I am willing to draft a QB not named Mahomes. If was starting a real team? I would take those guys one and two. Maybe not the case in Fantasy.

And you are correct AA. The complaint is about consistently losing second round road games because we were a WC team. As I have said, I will contemplate all the fun we had once it’s over. For now I think we should capitalize on the best damn QB in the Conference. As for decimated by injuries. We beat the Eagles. Not sure that is a team we can complain about injuries to.

The article you posted is from January.. DB posted one from 21 hours ago. Hawks don't have a player on top 40 and Wilson is indeed ranked 76 .
Russell Wilson, who is clearly the player Seattle can least afford to lose, is ranked 76th. Wilson is the sixth-highest rated quarterback, behind quarterbacks like Kyler Murray.
Do I even have to say it...

I honestly don't care about fantasy points. Like I have said, I have fantasies but none involve football.

The one I posted is based on who is the most best and most valuable QB in terms of actually winning football games as opposed to inane fantasy nonsense.

Winning football games and winning fantasy leagues are not the same thing. For years in my league, every time someone drafted Hines Ward someone would shout out “is this a points per block league!?”

Murray may actually end the season with more fantasy points than Russ. It certainly won’t make him the better QB.

Hell, I would guess that in the games we play against the Cards, Russ may get the wins and Kyle outscore him in fantasy.

I don't care about it either, but i find it curious that there is a way to win at NFL fantasy with RW ranked 76th...
