Ramification of College football cancellation on NFL
Ramification of College football cancellation on NFL
Guessing the NFL will flex several games a week to Saturdays. Putting those games on National TV will likely make up for most if not all the lost revenue from lack fans. Great news for the players as the salary cap might not have to be reduced in coming years in as was expected.
Great news for NFL fans as well that get two days of NFL every weekend instead of one.

Yeah but what happens to the 2001 draft?
Re: Ramification of College football cancellation on NFL
Maybe they will redo it and the Hawks can draft Santana Moss instead of Koren Robinson.

Don't be. MLB has dealt with and overcome significant COVID issues with the Marlins and Cardinals and has pressed on.......trharder wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 5:18 amI'm still a little nervous.Hanjag wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:33 amI would guess they would love it!D-train wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 12:37 amGuessing the NFL will flex several games a week to Saturdays. That's what businesses do. NCAA is essentially a public pseudo government entity and they couldn't figure it out. Not surprising.

So if they do play during Spring i assume the NFL would be moving the draft to late June or July. But if there is no season what criteria will they have to grade the players on other than what they did in 2019 or before? Will there be an expanded combine?
Re: Ramification of College football cancellation on NFL
MLB somehow held their draft and the world didn't come to an end. NFL will do the same. Everyone is in the same boat. They all just have to rely on all available info at the time.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:06 pmSo if they do play during Spring i assume the NFL would be moving the draft to late June or July. The issue isn't the draft. It's a lot of tape missing from players. It's the evaluation of NCAA talent. It's almost like a certain team said " You want our 1st round picks? No problem!!!"D-train wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:09 pmMLB somehow held their draft and the world didn't come to an end. NFL will do the same. Everyone is in the same boat.
