It's a trade for Ryan Kerrigan... Poona Ford is a PLUS run stopper... Reed was supposed to be the interior rusher, but that remains to be seen.
You just named two guys that play DT for us....there is ONLY one other that is actually a DT. I am not sure how having only three that play on run downs makes any sense. That is what everyone is saying. Yes, the pass rush stinks...but we have two young edge rushers that have not even played a down yet. IMO, the more pressing issue is making sure that if a team like Dallas comes in with a good O Line and stud back and just pounds on us, we aren't asking LJ Collier to play DT on second and four because out other guys are gassed!

I haven't scoured the depth charts, but I have a hard time believing any one else has three guys to play two spots on the D Line.

I cant believe the (original) over-under line was only 54 or 55. The way these two offenses are humming, in addition to key injuries on D for both teams (Irvin, Blair, Lawrence, Iwuzie), this game might rival that epic Rams-KC scoreboard crasher from a couple years ago.
Remember the dual with Watson and the Texans a few years ago? That might look like a snooze fest compared to this week!

Poona Snacks sounds like an appetizer you have with drinks on Maui.

I think RW can outscore any running team but we may have some games against passing teams where it comes down to who has the last possession.

Unfortunately almost every team is a passing team these days.

I still think we need to try to sign Clay. If not, traded what little draft capital we have left and get A DE somewhere else. Ryan n K from Washington, but they just lost Young for a bit.
