Snacks Harrison

A run stopper. That's not the problem. We can handle the run. What doesn't Pete and JS not get about having the worst pass rush in the league?

the Hawks gave up the fourth-worst yards-per-rush last year, they could use help at tackle

They still need depth along the line. Especially on the ends. But having another veteran at DT is still currently a NEED.

No way we can get away with just three DTs. Let's talk about the run defense when we aren't playing two teams that feature a broken down Todd Gurley or Sonny Michel. Damn, Nick Chubb looks like the cream of that RB crop since Penny and Barkley can't stay on the field.

My only worry is he isn't visiting until next week. Zeke scares the shit out of me, not to mention Dak scrambling. Dallas runs the ball unlike anyone we have played so far. We need to get out to a lead and force their hand, then hope we can contain the three cheetahs they have at WR.

I don't have a problem with Harrison as long as we have enough left in the tank to augment the pass rush. I would rather take my chances against the rush than have some mediocre QB run around for 8-10 seconds and have a field day and upset us.

Not sure I disagree, except I think Snacks is a bigger impact player than any of the edge rushers out there. Maybe I am wrong, maybe Clay Mathews is the answer? My hope is that one of the two Edge rushers we drafted can provide just as much spark as Clay can, and then Snack can shore up the run defense. Harrison did have two sacks last year, and three and a half the year before. Hell, that is damn near elite for our front!

I cant believe the (original) over-under line was only 54 or 55. The way these two offenses are humming, in addition to key injuries on D for both teams (Irvin, Blair, Lawrence, Iwuzie), this game might rival that epic Rams-KC scoreboard crasher from a couple years ago.

I looked up the Cowboys first few drives to see how they got behind 20-0. 5 drives: a punt, a turnover on downs and 3 fumbles.

It's a trade for Ryan Kerrigan... Poona Ford is a PLUS run stopper... Reed was supposed to be the interior rusher, but that remains to be seen.
