Man I don't miss the "experts" on Seattle Sports radio.
they gotta talk about something to fill all that air time.

It's a fine line feeding DK, we all know it's super important to PC to not turn the ball over. Because of that, RW tends to take what is available, and only take a few shots per game. Other teams are putting their top CB on DK, which means Lockett will be open more. They switch him over to Lockett or double team him, DK gets the ball more. This is why it's nice to have a two-headed WR monster.

I think Thursday was a rare game where neither team made a lot of mistakes. No turnovers, long drives, so there just seemed to not be that many plays. Maybe I imagined that??

Hugh Millen believes they should be targeting DK at least 10 times a game.
So he can drop four instead of two? Look, he’s a stud, but two straight up drops in five throws? Lockett was nine for nine....wasn’t DK’s night. His drop cost us four points. Eleven down the stretch is much better than seven. That shit drives me nuts, he didn’t do anything to deserve more looks that night AND we won, but Hugh, the guy that threw like nine NFL passes in his life, wants to question who Russ gave the ball to?
My thought is he's either open or he's not. Defenses are game planning DK. The call is Russ'. We know Russ loves his larger younger bro, DK, so he'd throw to him as much as he could. Lockett is really freaking good. It feels like some people have such a crush on DK they forget that.

But I'm gonna stick up for awkward Hugh Millen just a little. That guy does study the film. Compared to Danny and Gallant, he's a genius.

Far better sports minds here than on the radio. I honestly believe that.

Compared to those chuckle heads my 13 year old son is a genius. I kid you not, my youngest boy knows more about football than most grown men, and WAY MORE than either of those two jokers.

Usually I like to listen to Millen, but we scored 28 points, won the game, on receiver has three catches and two drops, the other guy has nine catches on nine throws. That might not be the time to complain about target share. Since the last Cardinal game Lockett has kind of been the forgotten man...we lost two of those games...why not wonder about that? We lose two of the three games where DK was Russ’ focus.

LOL Compared to Danny and Gallant the dead crab I saw on the beach today is a genius.

I'm surprised Dalvin Cook doesn't have a little better odds... but I get it. Winning teams get the MVP. sigh. I'm of the mind that Most VALUABLE Player should be the guy that is most important to his team. Take RW off the Seahawks, and we are a 3-13 team. There is nobody more valuable, and it's not even close. He's been robbed multiple times, this is his year. Hopefully he gets some big games in this stretch of sub .500s

Well, most teams have better back-up QBs than Geno Smith.

That is a hilarious answer! Also, how does Hugh Millen know what plays DK is the #1 target? Is he factoring in the defense where he might be double teamed, thus leaving another receiver open for a higher percentage play? What about the most obvious factor - that the QB didn't throw him the ball. is that Schotty's fault? What about using DK as a decoy? Gee, you think that might be part of a strategy? Some people are just assholes looking to judge other's so people will think they are smart. Usually, and most QB's know this, the defense plays a MAJOR role in who the ball is thrown too, based off the coverage. Not knowing that may be why Millen only had 9 passes in his illustrious HOF career.

Next up: Why aren't they targeting DK 20 times a game? Why isn't RW just throwing 10 TD's a game? Why doesn't the Seattle defense just stop giving up points? FIRE EVERYONE! TRADE RW! #idiiots - the extra i is for extra idiocy. :P
Millen actually looks at the all-22 video before saying what he says. He explained the difference between forcing the ball to a receiver and just giving them a chance to make a play. DK is the best athlete on the team and there were several plays where he had enough separation but RW for whatever reason didn't get him the ball.

more on Lewis...on top of everything else, it was a short week
Given that it was a short week, Seattle was unable to have a full-speed practice, which made Lewis’ task at learning center on the fly that much harder. His first full speed snap at center came when he lined up opposite the Cardinals' defensive line.
