everybody wants clicks, the question is how they go about trying to get them, some people start with what they believe to be good quality content in the hope of readers appreciating it, others put up fluff pieces that really have no practical use but are fun to click on, that is called click bait. Hey I am always up for some click bait. I open any site that has a little picture over to the side of a girl with big boobs. The only issue confusing the two.

Its interesting to me how we love rankings, its how our brains are wired and that plays into internet content, its the sweet spot with clicks i bet. If i was going to reverse engineer for internet content i think i would start there. Come up with various areas of interest and then try to create top 10 lists out of it to mine for clicks
