Here is a really good article on all of their options to dump him. There are a lot of options but none of them are good.

btw Could they have possibly made the salary cap rules more complicated. It is like you need to get a PHd in NFL salary cap to begin to understand it.

Thank you, Darren, for posting that. I think the ponies will just let him go before June, not in March. Anything to get out of giving him $37 million for 2025!

What a fall from grace for "Mr. Unlimited."

Cautionary tale for sure. Be careful what you think you want, because the grass isn't always greener. I blame Cialis for a good chunk of this. She's the Jada Pinkett Smith of NFL wives.

"Sean Payton says Wilson's demotion is not a financial decision"

Not at the moment, perhaps.

The whole thing looks good on DEN. Exit Bowlen, enter Walmart... the downfall begins. And hasn't stopped.

Benching him makes sense. He is healthy now. If he gets hurt and can't pass the physical? Another guarantee kicks in. That, to me is a sign. They say it is to "keep financial flexibility", but if their intention was to keep him for sure, they wouldn't say that. They would say that it is to allow him to rest up and heal for the coming season. If you are going to pay him regardless? You don't need "flexibility". That said, zero chance I am sorting through the issues with the salary cap. I agree with dt, why make it this hard!?

Again, I got into it with my sister about "salary cap Hell". I've been hearing how the Rams would be in salary cap Hell since before they won the Super Bowl! Why is it that my two favorite teams, one that has a salary cap and the other that only has a luxury tax, seem to be the only teams they compete against that seem to be limited by $? Again, the Rams were supposed to be doomed for years for leveraging themselves for a Championship. Instead? They had one down year because they lost their starting QB (sound familiar?) and are right back in the very same position as us, only they beat us twice. Salary cap Hell my ass. Everyone seems to be able to manipulate that, but we never seem to have the money to sign the big names. No one cares about the Luxury Tax besides the Mariners. Maybe it is just something about being located in Southern Canada?

Every female Seahawks fan I know has been saying this for years.
I will add though - KJ Wright says Ciara is very nice and never caused any trouble while she was around Seahawks facilities.

His ego might have grown regardless of how she acts or acted. He felt like he was a celebrity, not just an NFL QB. He isn't, and he wasn't.
