My take:
I don't know how a person can watch Lamar, Josh Allen and Mahomes and think we have anything but
half a QB with Geno.
Agreed, but how many Lamar Jacksons are actually out there? And what are the odds of finding one? I know I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know, but the QBs that you mentioned are not a dime a dozen. Far from it.
It's always amazed me to think that out of 32 starting QBs in this league, half of them aren't any good. And out of the remaining 16, perhaps 8 are okay, 4 are quite good and 4 are elite. The QB business is a tricky one.
My point is QBs that can and want to run with the ball. I would estimate at least 50% of the runs those 3 QBs have would be sacks if it were Geno. A QB that runs is a major problem for defenses. As a pure passer, Geno is very close to as good as those three. It's the running that makes those 3 the major threat.

On February 17, will Geno still be a Seahawk?

I want him gone too. I think it sends a strong message of a new start.
On the other hand, Pete kept Hasselbeck as the starter and made us suffer with Tardvaris for one year before getting his signature QB.

When Mike MacDonald was at Michigan, he was all around J.J. McCarthy, so he has all the knowledge of that guy, and if Seattle might be interested in him in the draft.

Yeah that was PC and Matt had taken the Hawks to a SB.

It was supposed to be Matt Flynn

I like it, however it needs more OL. Other than that, crushed it!

They didn't trade for Flynn until after the 2011 season so he wasn't an option when they went with the Late Tarvaris Jackson RIP...
