After using high 2nd round picks on Mafe and Hall the past two drafts you want them to take another edge guy in the late 1st? I get it that pass rush is important, but i think getting a quality interior o-lineman should be the top priority now.

This is what they have now and I added two stud DTs with the 102nd and 126th picks.
DEFENSIVE TACKLE/NOSE TACKLES
Starters: DT Johnathan Hankins, NT Jarran Reed.

Backups: Cameron Young, Matt Gotel, LaTrell Bumphus.

Comment: The Seahawks list Hankins as a defensive tackle, Reed as a nose. More relevant is that each will play substantially in the interior DL rotation. They are counting on Young to make a big leap in year two.

Why would the list Hankins as a DT rather than NT?

And on their website they list some 280 lb guy as a NT and Levi Bell as the only Edge.

Hawks have scheduled an interview with Demeioun ‘Chop’ Robinson. Thought it kinda interesting because his sack totals aren't really impressive
We have seen the likes of Odafe Oweh (Baltimore Ravens) and Trayvon Walker (Jacksonville Jaguars) get drafted in the first round—Walker, of course, went No. 1 overall—despite a lack of gaudy sack numbers. In Oweh’s case, he didn’t have a sack in his final year of college. Sacks can be volatile, but pressure rate and pass rush win rate tends to be a better indicator for the quality of an edge. Danielle Hunter is one of the NFL’s best edge rushers and he had 4.5 sacks in college.

I'd rather see what Mafe and Hall can do.

Yeah another Edge in the first round seems crazy even after a trade down. Read that article I posted in the other thread about guys expected to have big seasons now that we have guys qualified to be running NFL defenses instead of a DEI hire.
