The examples of foolish tweets are many, no doubt. I do think that some things that were tweeted after natural disasters from players aiding their communities can count as positive, though.

So Jay Gruden got fired at 0-5 after failing to beat the Patriots. Would he still have his job if they had won?
That’s a tough criterion.
Can’t fire the owner though. That would be more effective.

If he was 4-1 after losing to the Pats I think he would still have a job.Oso Dorado wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 5:12 pmSo Jay Gruden got fired at 0-5 after failing to beat the Patriots. Would he still have his job if they had won?

Re: Stupid NFL things...
i heard he was defying ownership wanting to start Colt McCoy over both the big money FA signee Case Keenum and the 1st round draft pick Haskins. Timing couldnt be better for ownership, as they fire him between games against the league's best and worst (Pats and Miami), so guaranteed to look bad followed by guaranteed chance at being competitive if not winning, making them look better to casual observers. Of course even a casual observer should know how bad that ownership is.Oso Dorado wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 5:12 pmSo Jay Gruden got fired at 0-5 after failing to beat the Patriots.
