Woof! Woof!! Hatchett O-Line headhunter commits

Post by rockycola » Sat Jul 27, 2019 2:30 am

Huskies stocking up on 4**** offensive linemen. Could be brutal for PAC-12 opponents.

WOOF
…………decapitation.

On the first play of his junior season highlight tape, four-star Ferndale offensive lineman Geirean Hatchett pulled from left to right. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound snow plow encountered an unfortunate linebacker along the way, throwing both arms (and some considerable body weight) into the over matched defender, who was effectively flattened into the artificial turf.

In doing so, the linebacker’s helmet was violently dislodged from his head, and it bounced six yards up field before finally resting at the 27-yard line.

So, yes, Hatchett knows how to turn heads and make an impactful first impression.

Now, he’ll likely be plowing through Pac-12 linebackers on Montlake for years to come.

Here's a working version of the link:

Also, here is the link from D-train's thread (the one that got usurped)

Mobile pulling guard, fits the Petersen O to a tee. Once he gets in the program, with the training regimen, expect him to get to a lean 290 by the start of his sophomore year, and closer to 300 by the time he finishes. They already got the masher in Memmelaar. And then Rosengarten and Murao - both physical with good feet. Shaping up to be an awesome line in 2 or 3 years.

It's about time! So nice to see this program prioritizing the big uglies on the OL. Getting elite talent there is big time!
