They need to clean up the run plays. Ahmed 2.9 ypc is not acceptable against a Division II team. Then again, he's no Gaskin.
Eastern isn't a Division II team but yeah, Ahmed doesn't seem to be the best RB on the team. Great finish with that safety. Damn wish dude would have scored on that last long run. 54 sounds so much better than 47.

Huskies still can't execute bubble screens.
they were a lot better today than before. i actually dont hate the play anymore now that the ball gets zipped out there so fast, unless the CBs are sitting on it. really doesnt work with an arm like browning/Myles/Price has.

Nice to see Asa Turner, Kyler Gordon, Cam Williams, McDuffie and Latu get so much PT. All those guys are future pros and all conference performers barring injury imho. the safety play was all McDuffie and Latu. some good contribution from youngsters Tuli and Rice as well. didnt see it from Tryon, the leading candidate, but nice pass rush contributions from Bowman and Potoae as well - bout time those guys broke thru after mediocre junior years.

I didn't get to watch the game like you guys did, but it's nice to read the game thread and see that the team looked really good against a team that is expected to steamroll its competition. And we acquired Clowney? Even the Mariners can't ruin a day like today.

They need to take all that sideways nonsense and throw it in the trash. I will never in a million years understand how that shit got trendy.
QBs like Kellen Moore and Jake Browning can make that throw, and make it on time, and give an athlete the ball in space. That being said, with our O Line and Prototypical NFL QB, I think we should scrap it. Throw the ball down field and run the ball down hill!
