Latest from the Sodo Arena Team

Post by JAWA » Tue May 28, 2019 3:02 am

They met up with the Seattle/King County chapter of the NAACP: https://mynorthwest.com/1391690/chris-h ... s-meeting/

It appears the NAACP may assist Chris and his crew to secure the conditional vacation of Occidental. I'm curious to see how this will all play out, and how much sway the NAACP has to help Chris achieve his goal.

Bizarre story. Can't fathom what is in it for the NAACP.

Same here, and we won't know what was discussed in these ultra-secret meetings. Hell, the first meeting between the two parties was postponed because it was leaked to the media. Won't find out about the next one after they've met. Perhaps Chris is working on an ace up his sleeve?

Chris purchases more Sodo land: https://twitter.com/ChrisDaniels5/statu ... 9200729090

Regardless if Sodo arena gets built, he's sitting on some prime real estate. Hope he develops the hell out of it to spite both the city and POS.

He should build a horror theme park there called "Mariner Land".

The ST is endorsing Juarez's opponent, Ann Davison Sattler: https://twitter.com/JoshShea40/status/1 ... 2805011457

If I remember correctly, she once worked for the Sonics. And, she does support Sodo arena.

No surprise here, but the Sodo Arena Team endorses Ann: https://twitter.com/sonicsarena/status/ ... 7555586048

Yeah, I highly doubt Chris and Co. are going to support someone who was one of the infamous "five" that nixed his initial petition to vacate Occidental. Not to mention Juarez doesn't give a damn about Sonics fans since she has the Storm to feed her basketball fix.

Wow, interesting tidbits from Ann: https://twitter.com/NeighborsForAnn/sta ... 3839634432

If I lived in her district, I'd vote for her. To hell with Juarez.
