22,000 tons? What is the roof made out of, Lead? That's heavier than two fully outfitted Navy destroyers.

But Navy destroys are not as iconic! I will never forget when they mentioned the unmistakable slant to the roof that made it so "special" I bet if the architect was still alive he would say it was because it rains in Seattle.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 2:03 pm22,000 tons? Oh I am sure that if they wanted to they could easily have it ready for opening night in 10.5 months. lolJAWA wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 4:40 amBest dirt pit EVER!: https://twitter.com/ChrisDaniels5/statu ... 1505598464

In order for that to happen, construction would have to be 24/7 and yet, I still don't think they'd be ready for the 2020-2021 NHL season. However, all construction must stop at a certain time so as not to piss off those living in the LQA. I wouldn't put it past the city to try if they wanted to expedite the process though.

Based on those pictures they might have to go 24/7 just to finish by the 21-22 season!!!JAWA wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 10:49 pmIn order for that to happen, construction would have to be 24/7 and yet, I still don't think they'd be ready for the 2020-2021 NHL season. Which they just might!
If that were to happen, the city will just tell the LQA residents there to suck it up and deal with it. Of course, if it was in Sodo, the city hears one measly complaint about the noise from the construction and they'll shut that shit down ASAP.

And there's a reason why the majority of Sonics fans are skeptical of OVG bringing the Sonics back.
