No delays on the Key's reno: https://twitter.com/ChrisDaniels5/statu ... 0560969729

Of course, if Sodo was being built, they'd halt that shit in a heartbeat. I do hope the workers stay safe and healthy out there.

LOL So its the absurd roof that saves the day.
That last clause is related, as Inslee reiterated today, to projects which involve shoring up a wall, or are related to stability.

The New Arena at Seattle Center site has established a temporary roof support system to hold up the 44 million pound roof and is also on public land.

I can see the SCC saying, "I told you so" about that goddamn roof.

I saw this tweet by Aaron earlier today, as well as your tweet: https://twitter.com/AaronQ13Fox/status/ ... 6005672961

If construction down in LA won't stop despite someone testing positive for COVID-19, you can damn well bet your ass that work won't stop here. Otherwise, it could really fuck with OVG's timeline on getting the damn Key's reno done on time.

Saw this on Aaron's twitter as well: https://twitter.com/AaronQ13Fox/status/ ... 8337093633

I couldn't read the entire article since I'm not a WSJ subscriber. I do wholeheartedly agree with the majority of responses to Aaron's tweet. What coulda, woulda, shoulda been.

Sigh...

You're not going to be surprised by this bit of news, dt: https://twitter.com/SeaTimesSports/stat ... 8925807618

Speaking of delays, the Seattle NHL's nickname to be unveiled sometime this fall: https://twitter.com/NHLdotcom/status/12 ... 5724822528

Now, I understand that these delays are not the fault of OVG nor the city as no one could have foreseen this unprecedented pandemic and the protests going on. However, I don't see why they couldn't announce the nickname via Zoom or some other social media platform. Trademark issues!? Jesus.

Over promise and under deliver. Right out of the carpet bagger's handbook. Now delayed a full year and massively over budget. But but but they are covering all the over runs. Yeah right. I am sure they are pure philanthropists and won't try to recoup ANY of those cost over runs. lol
