So, the states are neither socialist nor tragically failing. They're just struggling with the same problem facing the rest of America. The middle class is fading out of existence and as a result people are more often choosing a life of street ampthetimines and/or opiates.XpertDBA wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:42 pmNot to be too political......but.......
How is it the people who live in Washington/Oregon/California can't see that overtly Democratic policies are failing and failing tragically.
The homeless/drug use issues in these states is out of control.
I just don't understand how these states keep voting for the left, when socialism has caused nothing but abject failure in those states.

I think the Republican strategy would probably involve sweeping the streets and throwing all the junkies in jail. I can see why people would vote against that approach.
I like the way you said 'People are choosing a life of....' Yes, it's their choice to be non-productive, non-contributing members of society and have chosen to be unmotivated and chosen to be users of drugs. It's a much easier life to do nothing, take drugs and collect whatever welfare assistance they can get than to actually do any work hard, and increase their standard of living. The Republican strategy in reality is "Get a job...work hard...make something of yourself and contribute to society." It's always much easier and convenient to be a victim and sponge off family, neighbors, the streets and take drugs. Like you said, it's a choice.
