Probably a good chance that Sonics 2.0 makes it back to the playoffs BEFORE the M's do!
Latest from the Key renovation

Demolition continues at the Key: https://twitter.com/NHLSeattle_/status/ ... 6343771136
Also, Seattle's NHL website is up and running at nhlseattle.com.

Re: Latest from the Key renovation
It took the Blues 52 years to win their first Stanley Cup, so if the M's want to win their first WS like them, we have to wait until 2029. Hey, it's only a decade away!
Sigh...

The Traffic down there is gong to be an absolute disaster. It was already a nightmare when the Sonics left and that was before Vulcan built 50 New Skyscrapers in South Lake Union. The decision to blow off Hanson and go through with this project was idiotic.

Don't worry, everyone. Light rail to the Seattle Center is just a mere twenty years away! That, or they should have the drones up and running by then. Oh, almost forgot the Monorail! Problem solved!glenstar wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 12:55 amTotally agree.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 3:58 pmThe Traffic down there is gong to be an absolute disaster. I still chuckle at the promo photo of the couple biking to the game on a beautiful summer day.JAWA wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:30 amDon't worry, everyone. This one is exhibits a far more likely scenario. Hey looks like Mercer traffic as well.

I think everyone had a good chuckle about that pic. Well, everyone except the SCC.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 6:49 pmI still chuckle at the promo photo of the couple biking to the game on a beautiful summer day.

This will be coming to the Monorail in a couple of years once the NHL team start playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmEh-1pK87Y
I've been on crowded trains before but NEVER that bad! And no way in hell will I be taking the Monorail to the SC, no sir. It's the drones for me!
Re: Latest from the Key renovation
OVG/NHL Seattle with a poll asking how to get to the Key once the team starts playing: https://twitter.com/NHLSeattle_/status/ ... 5958222848
What do you know, most plan to drive. Former CM Rob Johnson has his work cut out for him in trying to mitigate the traffic/parking situation around the arena since we all know OVG has yet to come up with anything. But hey, light rail in about twenty years to the SC so it's not that far off!
Man, if only we had an option where transit is available and traffic is nowhere as bad as it is around the Seattle Center. Sigh...
