R.I.P. Adam Johnson

Post by mostonmike » Sun Oct 29, 2023 2:52 pm

A sad and horrible injury from which Adam Johnson never recovered last night in a British Elite League game. Johnson's NHL career was only a fleeting 7 games with Pittsburgh. What a terrible thing to happen.

What on earth was the other player doing? I don't know hockey well enough to say whether there is blame there.

EDIT: the original tweet showing the incident has over 40m views, so it’s easily found but I have removed the quote from here as it probably serves no purpose.

That is gross. No chance that wasn't intentional. If you punch someone in the face and they fall and crack there skull, its second degree murder at least, right? Doesn't matter that the intention wasn't to kill, the action caused a death. Has to be at least second degree. Just disgusting.
